Friday Night Fun Meet – A great time!
Twelve ROCS swimmers and 2 coaches headed to the Carlingwood YMCA last Friday, to compete with a small team from the Ottawa Y Olympians. It was a low-key fun meet that Coach Claudia noted, “ was an excellent learning opportunity for our small group, who had the experience of racing in a new venue, along with the attention of two coaches”. There were lots of parents from both clubs who showed up to cheer and encourage all the swimmers. The pizza social was a fun way to end the event for the families, - our sincere thanks to Liz McKeown the Meet Manager and all the OYO parents – we hope they’ll join us for our met on March 3rd!
